Welcome to Kenilworth Tennis, Squash and Croquet Club
Kenilworth Lawn Tennis and Squash Club (KLT&SC) is a forward-looking Club with excellent sports and social facilities, located on a very attractive site on the outskirts of this historic Warwickshire town.
In addition to tennis and squash, the Club also has a growing croquet section, and racketball has been added recently to the sports available.
The Club offers a wonderful facility in beautiful surroundings for players of all ages and abilities, from beginners to match players, across all four sports.
The club has nine tennis courts - six are artificial grass and the other three are macadam courts. Floodlighting has been installed on all tarmac courts (including the Junior Court) and four artificial grass courts. All the courts have been refurbished or re-laid recently.
There are five squash/ racketball courts, all in good condition, properly heated and maintained. Spectator viewing is possible from a balcony above the courts.
A second croquet lawn was opened in 1996, and this has enabled the Club to enter league matches. The World Croquet Federation recently selected our two lawns as a venue for a preliminary round of the World Golf Croquet Championships. The Croquet Section's new pavillion was opened in 1998. Kenilworth members have recorded successes at national croquet events.
The Club has a large car park covered by CCTV, and entry to the Clubhouse is controlled by individual security card key. The large Clubhouse has changing facilities, showers and saunas for both ladies and men.
Bar and Social Facilities
The Club has a well-stocked bar with a full-time bar manager. The whole bar and lounge area were completely refurbished in 2005.
An attractive lounge area and function room with verandah overlook the beautiful tree-lined setting of the Club. The function room is the scene for the annual social functions including the Christmas and Summer Balls and dances, and the hugely popular bonfire night event. The Clubhouse facilities are available for hire for private parties; contact the Bar Manager.
